  1. I noticed one of the links suggests a microchip for pets. I have all of my pets microchipped. However, the microchip is only a piece of the equation. If your pet is found, the microchip information is useless unless your pet's chip is registered. The most popular registration site, and the site that most vets will look at, is HomeAgain Pet Registry. https://www.homeagain.com/ Also, most vets charge a premium for microchips. Before you get gouged at your vet, check the price here, and ask your vet to implant the chip. https://www.pettravelstore.com/pet-microchip/ Also, make sure that whatever chip you get is the new ISO 15 digit standard. There are still some vets that use the old chip, and they are useless at a lot of places.
