Thank you to our first Vice Mayor Linda Robinson and the original Special Events Committee for starting such a wonderful tradition. As we have done annually since our first year of incorporation, Palmetto Bay holds this signature event as our way of saying “thank you” to all of the residents. The picnics offer something for everyone - entertainment provided by local schools, children’s activities, rides, demonstrations by local agencies, and, of course, food - including everyone’s favorite roasted corn on-the-cob.

Village History Update - Part III – Annual Village Picnic - 10 year anniversary
No history of Palmetto Bay's first 10 years would be complete without posting photos from one of our great Palmetto Bay events - the annual celebration picnic. I hope most, if not all of you, have developed a favorite memory from this family event. I posted previously on this event. Follow the link to review the story and photos in "Palmetto Bay Picnic today, Saturday, 3/5/2011" Be sure to click "Read more" below to view the huge numbers of photos (32 below) that I have posted from past events. Can you find one of yourself, a member of your family or friends. If not, feel free to send a personal picnic photo to add to this collection.
