Friends Forever presents its 2011 Paws in the Park, held at Palmetto Bay's Perrine Wayside Dog Friendly park Sunday, March 13, 2011, from 9:00am - 1:00pm
This event is billed as an event for the entire dog-friendly family. Bring the kids, bring the dogs, bring the whole family. This fundraiser is for everyone!
The event is an approximate one-mile stroll around beautiful Perrine Wayside Dog Park in The Village of Palmetto Bay (with or without your dog) to benefit Friends Forever Humane Society

Event Concept:
Paws in the Park is a non-competitive one-mile walk to celebrate the companionship between humans and our canine family members.
Two-legged walkers without dogs are also invited to participate.
Event proceeds help fund Friends Forever Humane Society, a non-profit dog rescue organization in Miami.
Event Facts:
***Date: Sunday, March 13, 2011 ~ 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
*** One mile route through beautiful Palmetto Bay with start and finish
line in Perrine Wayside Park
***Dogs who come will compete in a Best Doggy Costume contest
***Event "gift bags" will be distributed with goodies for both the dogs
and their walkers
***Additional activities will take place in the park during warm-up
registration and after the walk
***Sponsors will provide snacks and drinks for all walkers
***Raffle will include prizes for both two- and four- legged walkers
***Registration Fees:
$50 for your family and dog or dogs

9:00 am: Registration
10:00 am - 11 :00 am: Walk
11:15 am: Contest results, Entertainment & presentation
1:00pm : Event Concludes
