Photo of the Day - taken in Volusia, nowhere near Palmetto Bay. How to Identify a Coral Snake, info

What's in your closet?

How would you like to find a Coral Snake moving past your shoes in your closet?

Native wildlife.

The rhyme for identifying a Coral Snake from a harmless impostor such as a milk snake or the scarlet king snake:  "Red touched black, safe for Jack. Red touches yellow, kill a fellow. This is how to identify a coral snake."

This snake calls Volusia, FL home.  This snake is nowhere near Palmetto Bay, but Coral Snakes are occasionally found here in Palmetto Bay.
