The kick-off/welcome to the picnic will take place at CORAL REEF PARK, beginning at 11 am, starting with the singing of the national anthem by violinist, Ian Barnett from Miami Youth for Chamber Music.

11:15am - Howard Drive Elementary (Dance and Chorus)
11:45am – Tandem Theater (Kids)
12:15pm – Tandem Theater (Adults)
12:30pm – Miami Youth for Chamber Music Preparatory Strings
12:30pm - Mayor’s Cup Baseball Game – Palmetto vs Coral Reef
1:00pm – “Get Fit Palmetto Bay” – Winner Announcements –
Benefit Car Show Award Announcements and RAFFLE from Bike Valet Tickets
1:15pm- Palmetto Middle School Drama
1:30pm- Southwood Middle School 4-string quartet
1:45pm- Southwood Students - Rock Band - “The Exit”
In addition to the free rides, face-painting, various partner booths, and delicious food, the following highlights will be featured at the picnic!
- Bike valet – provided by Green Mobility Network
- Home Depot will set up a DYI craft kits station
- Christ Fellowship volunteers will be on-site to lend a hand and Sponsoring water!
- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts giving away 1,000 doughnuts
- P & R Recreational Providers promoting their programs with interactive activities by their booths
- P & R Tent with staff promoting programs, other park events, summer camp and sports programs.
- Palmetto Bay Police Department will be on site along with, Fire Truck Demo, Citizen Crime Watch tent with/ McGruff, Daren-Mascot from D.A.R.E., MDC Fire Safety Smoke House, K-9 and SWAT truck unit.
- Benefit Car Shows will host an 11 category car show for all to enjoy. Awards sponsored by Bullseye Powder Coating.
