Update on the Zoning In Progress / Moratorium Resolution, special council meeting scheduled for May 21, to conclude

Once again, the council listened to the public concerns.  I remain proud of the activism in this community.  The Council discussed a last-minute 9H substitute for the Zoning In Progress / Moratorium Resolution.  This was the much kinder and appropriate substitute 9H.  The new resolution targets only residential properties exceeding one acre.  The council did not have this matter noticed as a resolution requiring public hearing so the matter will be rolled over to a special council meeting, presently scheduled for 7 PM, Monday May 21.
There still could be further changes to this Zoning In Progress / Moratorium Resolution, as I stated, nothing is set in stone until the final vote. Keep up the contact with the council members.  This council has demonstrated ‘flexibility’ on controversial issues.
