Application WITHDRAWN - 2-24-2016 - Cutler Properties, LC / Pending Land Use and Rezoning Applications for Old Cutler Village (Folio No. 36-6003-001-0013)

The applicant has withdrawn the pending land use and rezoning applications set for public hearing before the Cutler Bay Town Council on March 16.  A copy of the letter withdrawing the application is posted below.  This Town Officials are advised by this letter that the property owner will now,, instead, move forward with a new plan that is based upon their current developmental rights (removing any hearing).

The 'important' paragraph - this is the intention of the developer:

In lieu of the development of the Property under the proposed “Mixed-Use” land use designation and “NC-1” zoning classification, the Applicant will pursue the “as of right” development of the Property under the existing “Low Density” land use designation and “SR” zoning classification. To that end, as soon as the Applicant’s design team is able to prepare an alternative site plan for the development of a single-family subdivision on the Property, we will amend the pending Site Plan Application so that it may be scheduled for consideration by the Council at the earliest possible opportunity.

Look for additional information to be provided by the Town of Cutler Bay.   You can also follow the Livable Cutler Facebook page (CLICK HERE)

Dunedin to Tarpon Springs 1 30 16 - Riding the Pinellas Trail

Another example of Bicycle Tourism. Alexandra and I toured The Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail on Jan 30, 2016. This is an original "Rails to Trails" project, a linear park and recreation trail from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. This video is a composite of the section from Downtown Dunedin to Tarpon Springs. Downtown Dunedin is an outstanding small town - historic, patriotic with an outstanding weekend open air market. The town is bike, dog and golf cart friendly.
