Yes, is the story of the tortoise
missing for 30 years is true or simply as true as Manti Te'o’s girlfriend? It is a good story either way and certainly
offers a diversion from politics, mock drafts and doping – who is not getting
tired of knowing what PEDs means and telling those who still don’t? Who hasn’t had a mean pet iguana? Live and
learn. In politics, they say if you want a friend, get a dog. Tortoises? Well,
other than the fact that they will outlive you, they certainly will not violate
any municipal noise ordinances by barking.
