The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is working a roadway project which will last about three months from start date. This project is located at State Road 5/US1 at SW 200 Street/Caribbean Boulevard in Cutler Bay.
This project will be a short term inconvenience for what will hopefully result in long term gains for area traffic flow.

This Project Includes:
Widening of the medians to create longer turning lanes
Replacing traffic signs
Repaving and restriping the roadway
Traffic Flow:
To do this work safely, it will be necessary to close traffic lanes at times. Tasks will be done in stages to lessen the effects of the construction. At least one lane will be open in each direction at all times. Entrances to homes and businesses will be kept open. Bus stops will not be affected.
