Natural Palmetto Bay. I came across this little guy while out on the Saturday morning ride. These photos were the best I could do with an iPhone.
Research, A/K/A answer from a friend, indicates that this is a marsh rabbit (Sylvilagus palustris) which is a small cottontail rabbit that can be found in marshes and swamps of coastal regions of the Eastern and Southern United States.
