To candidates Brian Pariser and Tim Schaffer: What have you promised that it is worth 4 families to put together $7,500, including a $5,500 PAC (Political action committee) for this small municipal election?
This PAC has sent out political mailers/advertisements, filled in my opinion, with political low blows, innuendo and tripe. The PAC has reported raising $5,500 in donations and loans on this single known report with $3,327.15 in expenditures reported to date. CLICK HERE to review the Palmetto Bay Concerned Residents PAC
This is a significant investment in just 2 candidates. What do they expect in return?
And this does not include the personal donations that these residents
have made to your campaigns
The families:
Jack Fell and Pam Reid
Anthony Gorman
Stuart Guthrie Family
Most Palmetto Bay residents are not big donors. It is very unique that in Palmetto Bay, there
appears to be a total of $7,500.00 in campaign monies coming from just four
addresses. This for a single municipal election.
Here are the reported donations to the PAC:
Jack Fell, 7210 Mitchell Drive, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158 $500.00 plus $3,000 loan (not from a
candidate)
Ruth P. Reid, 7210 Mitchell Drive, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158 $500
Anthony Gorman, 14140 SW 72 Avenue, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158, $500
Phyllis Kaplan, 7898 Devonshire Way, Boulder CO 80301 $500 (out of
state money)
Jean B. Guthrie Trust, 6969 SW 141 Street, Palmetto Bay, FL 33158, $500
(from a trust)
There have been direct donations to both Brian Pariser and Tim Schaffer
from these same addresses:

$7,500.00 from a total of 4 addresses in a single municipal
campaign? What is the expected return on investment?
Discusting.
ReplyDeleteWe are sure that Mr. Pariser has denied any responsibility. This is another example how how big a hypocrite he is.
ReplyDeleteNo way, Mr Pariser has been taking credit for all Gene's successes, doesn't he want to take credit for the political action committee as well?
DeleteThe common denominator is that Pariser is run by and part of the radical fringe who are pushing for an even stronger neighborhood protection ordinance after the election. This is a group that wants more than a strong zoning code, they want a permanent moratorium against anything changing anywhere.
ReplyDeleteThey are known as the BANANA bunch. They want absolutely nothing built anywhere near anyone.
We need to shake off the freaks from each side and get some good people into office who represent the center of the village.
The Banana bunch of which you speak is rotten to the core.
DeleteWell, what are they expecting for their money? And no, we know for this level of money, there is a lot more at play than "good government."
ReplyDeleteMr. Flynn - I would be interested in your comments regarding the upcoming Palmetto Bay issues that are on the ballot for Nov 6th. Will you be posting your suggestions and/or information that voters might consider?
ReplyDeleteHow can the Miami Herald take other candidates to task for money from outside Palmetto Bay and leave this out? The campaign contribution limit is $500. It is obvious that the Vice Mayor has found a way to skirt that limit and not report all of the money that is supporting him.
ReplyDeleteMr. Ethics apparently has a second PAC working on his behlaf. I received an attack mailer today attacking Mr. Dubois. It is clear there is more than one fact to Mr. Pariser and his campaign minions.
ReplyDeletePariser is such a sleeze. He is quoted as so indignant that other candidates take money from outside Palmetto Bay, but uses PACs to spread garbage. He is the ultimate politician who wont accepts responsibility for his minions who spread lies and innuendo as well as those who steal candidates signs.
ReplyDeleteDon't vote for Dubois no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI can see from reading this that there is no difference between Pariser or Dubois.
ReplyDeleteYou need to-update your facts. It appears that Pariser has 2 PACs, not just one.
